Key Passions: optimal strategies, positive psychology, spiritual growth

I am interested in how change processes occur and how they can be optimally supported.

For some time now, and especially after working with refugee mothers, I have been increasingly confronted with the phenomenon of "victimhood thinking". With so many people suffering from different kinds of catastrophes at the moment (wars, climate change, etc.), it is very easy to fall into 'victimhood thinking' or to feel 'too small' to have any impact on these problems. This can paralyse people and lead them into various mental health problems, negativity and/or apathy.

Recently, I have become passionate about positive psychology and have begun to study and use these methods in my work, especially to find the best ways to help people out of these thinking patterns, in order to give them back a feeling of responsibility - in the sense of the ability to respond to life.

As a mathematician and a data scientist, I work with methods of process optimisation and am inspired by their range of applications. As a non-medical psychotherapist and psychological consultant, I also know that many changes in the world require changes in ourselves. I am fascinated by the ability of people to grow beyond themselves through insight into their psychic processes.

My knowledge in both areas allows me to take a holistic approach to supporting change and adaptability - and I am happy to be part of this great collaboration!
